The Delmar High School football team hosted an “Orange Out” on Oct. 25 to help raise donations and awareness for childhood cancer. Delmar has had a reputation for being a tight knit community that often rallies behind Delmar High School’s sports programs, so The Wire reporter Jeff Melvin asked staff at Delmar why they thought that Delmar enjoys this passionate fan base.
