26th Annual Apple Scrapple Festival

Delaware’s 26th annual Apple Scrapple Festival took place on the streets of Bridgeville Oct. 12-13. The event showcased food vendors, art booths, rides, and live entertainment. The festival celebrates two products well known in the area-- Scrapple and apples. These products could be found at many food vendors in the form of scrapple sandwiches and scrapple sausage, or apple dumplings and apple cider. A festival like this could be seen as a way of life for the people who attend year after year. It has a small town feeling, and promotes community and coming together to share joy.
