Terry Campus hosts annual Chocolate 5k
More than 600 runners and supporters came out to the Sixth Annual Chocolate 5K on Feb. 10 at Terry Campus to help raise funds for the Delaware Technical Community College’s International Education Study Abroad Scholarship.
The runners were able to raise more than 15,000 dollars for the students.
Participants and guests were also able to enjoy music from the schools marching band, have pictures taken at the photo booth, and of course; eat chocolate. Children ten and under participated in a kiddie run as well.
After the run, the participants enjoyed chocolate, snacks, and beverages prepared by the school’s culinary department.
