Indoor Movie Series Shows Jurassic World
By Andrew Howard
The Indoor Movie series has come to Delaware Tech Owen’s Campus showing recent box office hits right on campus.
Students have expressed how great it is that movies are shown on campus and thankful the college puts them on for free.
Business management student Logan Blough said, “It makes everything so much easier when I’m already on campus, I can stay a little bit longer and catch a sweet movie.”
Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Melissa Rakes said staff and the community are welcome to come watch the movie free of charge as well.
She hopes this is a way to keep students engaged in school.
“This year, Student Life has contracted with Swank Motion Pictures to offer a film series on campus throughout fall and spring semesters,” Dr. Rakes said.
Dr. Rakes said the Indoor Movie Series has one more movie planned for the rest of the fall semester and two more in the spring semester.
On Dec. 3 at 11:30 a.m. “The Visit” will be screened in the theatre. The movies in the spring semester will be held on Feb. 25 at 11:30 a.m., and April 20 at 5 p.m.
